Below is a documentary about a group of people that suffer from type 1 and type 2 diabetes. They change their diets to raw organic plant-based food for 30 days in hopes of reversing their diabetes.
I found it interesting that one guy actually quit before completing the full 30 days. If I had the opportunity to try and reverse a disease I don't think I would give up. What would you do? I have friends and family that suffer from diabetes and I could not help but think of them while I was watching this documentary.
Any opportunity to avoid the use of pharmaceuticals is a good thing and this documentary helped prove that you can heal the body through nutrition. The body is designed to heal itself we just need to provide the proper fuel for our bodies to thrive and regenerate.
Overall this documentary was informative, motivational and inspiring. I recommend that anyone who is health conscious, knows somebody who currently has diabetes or knows someone who is at risk of getting diabetes watches this.
