Be Veg: Peach pie smoothie

One of my favorite ways to eat peaches is in this easy and delicious smoothie concoction. All you need is water, dates, frozen peaches, cinnamon and nutmeg.

I personally prefer to use frozen peaches because adding ice has a tendency to water the flavor down. Using frozen fruit checks two blocks simultaneously. However, you can use thawed or fresh peaches and achieve equally satisfying results.

RECIPE
1.5 - 2 cups or water (depending on the preferred consistency)
1.5 cups of frozen peaches 
10 dates
1 tsp cinnamon
2 dashes of nutmeg
Garnish: 1 tbsp of crushed walnuts 

Add the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.

Total calories (with garnish): 379 kcal
Carbohydrates: 91g
Protein: 4g
Fat: 3.3g

Total calories (without garnish): 346 kcal
Carbohydrates: 90g
Protein: 3g
Fat: 0g
